Trick or Treat!

So, at least I am getting this out before December.  Halloween was crazy cold, but feels like a walk in the park compared to the weather this week.  Megan and Andy had a rehearsal dinner, so our parents took Kyran and Ben out for Trick or Treating.  I volunteered to bring the girls up so they could all go together.  Lucy was a bear, Addie was a Halloween/Purdue cheerleader, Katie was Nancy Drew, Ben was a Power Ranger (I think - I don't have boys), and Kyran was a dinosaur.  We went to downtown Rochester where business owners stood outside and handed out treats.  Addie was a little scared of some of the costumes and Lucy just stared.  We lasted most of main street when the kids decided a warm car was better than candy.  Next we headed to the fire station in Fulton for a costume contest and treats.  They were put in age groups and judged.  It was super cute and there are definitely some more creative moms than me!  After that, we made three stops - bus driver friend of my mom's, Aunt Tai and Uncle Eric (Tai had warm  homemade cookies ready and waiting!), and Aunt Linda and Uncle Dave.  I think the kiddos were happy to get back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for hot chocolate.  I had a very quiet ride home that night :)

Lucy is Walking

So, it probably won't get in the baby book, but Lucy started "falling" into walking in late September.  She really took actual steps on October 8, 2014.  Here is a short video of her walking.
