Nephews Visit

My two cute nephews (Kyran and Ben) visited me for the weekend while their Mom and Dad took a much needed weekend away.  We had a great time!  The kids had so much fun and the weather was nice too.
The girls introduced their cousin to a great short movie based on the book "Room on the Broom"...then they had to practice.

The two-year-olds had a lot of fun with Uncle Jason's barn.

And climbing on the barn!

Few more Halloween Pictures..

Brad sent me a few pictures, so here is more Halloween fun!

Halloween 2015

We did a little bit of a non-traditional Halloween this year.  We started out at Rossville school where K-2 put on a Costume Parade.  Addie went as Ana from Frozen because her real Halloween costume was a little too elaborate to put on by herself at school.  Saturday (Halloween), we headed to Winamac to Grandpa Brad and Grandma Judi's house for the afternoon.  The girls carved their pumpkins and then got dressed up.  We rode out to Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa's house and then did a short stop at a friend of Brad and Judi's.  Brad and Judi then took the girls for a short trip around their neighborhood.  It was a cold evening and then it started raining.  We ended the night with mac n' cheese and chicken and Grandpa Brad and the girls building a cardboard monster high school out of a large box.  On Sunday, we headed over to Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Jim's house for a lunch, family pictures outside, and then a Halloween parade in the garage with some snack food.  It was a busy but super fun weekend for the kiddos!!

Addie trying on her costume a few weeks before Halloween.  She was Jennafire Long (daughter of a Chinese Dragon).  It's a Monster High Doll thing.
Addie's Class is in the background - she is 4th in line

Happy Ana because she finally found Mommy in the crowd.

Selfie of Lucy and me watching the parade.
Lucy's (really Daddy's) pumpkin and Katie's (hers is throwing up pumpkin insides...yuck)

Addie's creepy pumpkin

Lucy at Great Grandparents - Grandpa kept introducing her as a Republican (cutest elephant in the world!)

The gang...Katie was a volleyball player zombie - hence no smiling!!
Halloween fun at Grandpa Debbie's and Grandpa Jim's.  We had a couple more zombies (Emily and Tiff)

Aunt Megan handing out candy.  Kyran was Batman and Ben was Red Power Ranger

Ludington in Fall!

The girls are on a new "balanced" school calendar, so that means a week off for Fall Break.  We headed back up to Ludington with my sister's family for a long weekend at the end of fall break.  It was definitely quieter, but we enjoyed the break.

Sandcastles Children's Museum is always a highlight! Addie liked the rock wall.

We got a few goodies from Kilwins before they closed for the season.

This was the girls' first Carmel apple

Below are a few pics from my sister's blog:

Liking Ludington!

Cold, but still like playing at the playground

Grilled Cheese and Tomato soup on a cold night

They tried shuffleboard....sort of.
Beautiful picture of the main house.  This is were our parents stay during the summer.  We walked by it and Lucy pointed "Poppa's House!"
