Happy Halloween
We did something different this year for Halloween...we loaded up the boys and went camping with my parents, their friends, and my sister and her family. We carved pumpkins, had a campfire, rode bikes, went for walks, and the kids played for hours on end. It was such a fun weekend, and to top it off, I think the boys came home with enough candy to last three years!
Grandma and Grandpa with 4 of the kiddos...ready to head out on the candy trail!
Eric, Tai, and Rose came to trick-or-treat too!
Taking a break
Some additional pictures. Lucy had to try on Kryan's mask.
On Monday, I was able to leave work and attend Addie's fall classroom party and then stay for the annual K-3 costume parade. It was fun having time with just Addie.
That evening, we took a trip to a suburb in Rossville. We were done in 45 minutes and the weather was beautiful. As you can see, the costumes changed throughout the weekend and Halloween. Addie was a black cat, then a voodoo doll. Katie was Robin Hood (she left the costume she made in her locker) and then a greek goddess (she made it all herself!). Lucy stayed a cute Bumble Bee.
